BOOMBASTIC BOOGIE CARGO PANTALOONS
Overview
An avant-garde, deconstructed cargo pant executed in classic woodland camouflage — where military utility meets intentional chaos. These pantaloons blur the line between streetwear and wearable art, featuring raw, unfinished construction details that feel deliberately rebellious rather than accidental.
Silhouette & Construction
The silhouette is dramatically oversized and wide-legged, falling into a voluminous, almost parachute-like drape through the thigh and seat. The defining architectural feature is a layered apron panel — a large, skirt-like flap of fabric that wraps across the front and sides of the upper leg, creating a double-layer effect that reads somewhere between a kilt overlay, a deconstructed cargo flap, and a samurai hakama. This panel is raw-cut at the hem with intentionally frayed, unfinished edges, adding texture and a lived-in rawness.
Waistband
An exposed elastic waistband sits at the top, fully visible and ungusseted — no waistband facing or clean finish. The elastic itself is part of the aesthetic, left bare and slightly ruched, giving a casual, pulled-from-the-pile energy while maintaining comfort and wearability.
Pockets & Details
• Oversized cargo pockets sit on each hip, constructed with the same raw-edge finishing — seams exposed, edges fraying intentionally
• Pocket flaps are unfastened and open, draping loosely rather than buttoning down
• Distressing and ripping throughout — deliberate tears and pulled threads scattered across the thighs and lower legs, ranging from small snags to more pronounced blown-out holes
• Exposed interior seams run visibly along panel joins, reinforcing the deconstructed aesthetic
• White raw-thread fraying contrasts sharply against the camo print, acting almost like an accent detail
Fabric & Print
• Woodland BDU camouflage — the classic four-color military pattern in olive green, brown, tan, and black
• Medium-weight canvas or twill construction — structured enough to hold the dramatic silhouette, but with enough drape to move fluidly
• The fabric appears washed and broken in, giving it a vintage, surplus-store authenticity rather than a crisp, new-goods feel
Colorway
Classic Woodland Camo — olive, forest green, raw umber brown, khaki tan, and flat black
Aesthetic DNA
Surplus store apocalypse. Post-war street samurai. Military deconstructivism.
These pantaloons sit at the intersection of Yohji Yamamoto-esque deconstruction, 90s hip-hop utility, and distressed surplus fashion. They’d feel at home styled with a cropped tee, combat boots, and nothing else — letting the volume and chaos of the pant speak entirely for itself.
Fit Notes
• Unisex / gender-neutral silhouette
• Elastic waist offers flexible sizing
• Extremely wide leg — meant to be worn with significant volume, not tapered or tucked
• Length hits at or just below the ankle depending on height
